I Can't Learn About The RFRA From Miley Cyrus or Your Facebook Posts

I must be nuts to come out with a fresh commentary about a subject that is so emotional for so many.   By choice I don’t normally post anything about politics because people lose their minds.

Such is the case with the #BoyCottIndiana that is happening right now.  It has been trending on Twitter and ever present in my Facebook stream.  All well and good–people have opinions.

However, my observation is that people take so much at face value and don’t do their “due diligence” (if you will) before blasting to their social media networks.

In my perfect world there is no entitlement and nobody gives a shit what you look like or what you are as long as you work hard.  Nobody gets a job or proper service only because you ARE “X” and you don’t NOT get a job or proper service only because you are “X”.

I am a minority woman in the workforce with a small business, years in management, operations and customer service-I have been in situations on both sides.

Throwing down the “D” card is pretty serious stuff.  I WISH people would do their homework before trying to convince others to jump on their train.  The way the law reads to me is that it doesn’t give the right to discriminate against LGBTQ.  It’s a balancing test for the courts to prevent the government from discriminating against religious Americans (all faiths), period.
